Camí de Perella
The project includes bioclimatic strategies (water management, photovoltaic solar energy capture, fully automated systems, etc.), arrangement of a new access point and configuration of a system of terraces and dry stone walls, and the landscape design of the entire plot.
The landscaping element extends to the setting for the dwelling and swimming pool, the connection with the annex, the agricultural approach to the new orchard and the rejuvenation and improvement works to the arboreal stratum of the estate.
A shaded area of alternating almond trees, olive trees and vines planted in a regular framework gives identity to the intervention and connects the dwelling to the annex.
The aim is to play with the contrast between the natural character of a plantation and the imposed order of the fruit trees.
The natural plantation is organised according to seasonal and colour criteria, which generates a series of colours and textures along the length of the stone ‘carpet’ that joins the property to the annex.
The new road access to the plot snakes its way from the entrance along the smooth topography, and following it is a plantation, whose transitional character is in sympathy with the existing undergrowth and with the introduction of yellow flowering species to contrast in colour and tonal freshness with the dark green and glaucous of the existing shrub layer.
A series of constructed elements such as pergolas, with trellises for climbing plants, benches, parking with electric charge points, and play areas are integrated in a harmonious way into the intervention.
